I began my career at Tokopedia as a Quality Assurance Engineer, contributing to the early development of critical systems like orders, payments, and promotions.

My commitment to excellence earned me a nomination for Tokopedia’s 2016 Rookie of the Year from the Tech Function—the only QA engineer to achieve this recognition, standing alongside software engineers.

Area of Contribution

Payment Integration

I contributed significantly to the development of the payment systems, starting with a basic bank transfer method and expanding to integrate over 15 different payment methods. This includes credit and debit cards (supporting both full payments and installment plans), as well as payment options through convenience stores like Indomaret, Alfamart, and Pos Indonesia. Additionally, I helped integrate e-wallets, providing users with a diverse range of payment options.

Order Management

I worked closely with the order management system to ensure that the process of placing, tracking, and processing orders was seamless and error-free across both mobile and desktop platforms. This included extensive testing to validate the accuracy and reliability of order workflows.

Promotion Engine Development

One of my notable contributions was in the development and testing of Tokopedia's first promotion engine. This required a deep understanding of various promotional structures and the ability to ensure that these were functioning as expected, providing users with the correct discounts, rewards, or incentives in real-time.

Automated Testing

I developed and implemented automated test scripts to streamline the testing process, ensuring that new features and functionalities were rigorously tested without manual intervention. This significantly reduced the time and effort required for regression testing and helped in maintaining high-quality standards.

Auto Payment Reconciliation System

I was instrumental in building and maintaining an automated payment reconciliation system, which helped streamline financial processes, ensuring that all payments were accurately reconciled with bank records, thereby minimizing errors and discrepancies.
